No Joints To Break
Unlike most knives, the Bushman is made from one piece of steel, meaning that there is no joint or seam to break or wear out. The Bushman's blade and handle have been cold forged out of one piece of SK-5 high carbon steel. The knife is then heat treated & tempered to RC54. When put to the test, the Bushman can handle up to two tons of pressure on the handle-blade area.

Razor Sharp
Unlike many "tough" knives, the Bushman is tough AND sharp. The edge of the knife has been carefully ground and sharpened to a raxor sharp edge, perfect for whatever cutting job you have. Resharpening the Cold Steel Bushman is a snap, too - a few swipes with a knife steel or other knife sharpener will give you a razor sharp edge again.

Multi-Functional Handle
One of the key features a survival knife needs is versatility - a good survival knife needs to be able to perform any task you need it to. The Bushman's hollow handle has two important survival features designed to make it highly versatile. First, its hollow handle will store survival gear or supplies. Second, the handle is designed to accept a handle extension, turning it into a spear or bush ax.
